What this rebuild is built from, what is missing, and what was substituted.
The company’s site is gone. razorthreat.com now serves a parking page. The last version of the site was built on Weebly and captured by the Internet Archive between 2013 and 2019; nine of its pages were recovered, together with its logo, its background images and its stylesheet.
Every description of the technology, the methodologies, the partner programme and the contact route is quoted or condensed from those captures. Nothing about the products is invented.
Where it came from
- PagesHome, RazorThreat Vision, RazorDetect, Active Digital Forensics, High Value Asset Management, Managed Security Services, Partners, Contact and In the News — all captured 2015–2019 and kept in _tools/archive/original-pages/.
- ImagesThe logo (2015), the network visualisation used as the hero (2019), the phrenology “knowledge” background (2018), the partner photograph (2017) and the favicon — all the company’s own files.
- PaletteRead from the site’s own stylesheet (rzt-base.css): deep red #720101, charcoal #4c4d4f, warm greys #e6e6e0 / #f2f2ef, sage #b9c5a1 and olive #567928.
- TypeThe original mixed Century Gothic and Helvetica. The wordmark is a serif, so headings here use Source Serif and body text Inter, both self-hosted, in place of the system faces.
What is missing
- An earlier generation of the site. Between 2007 and 2012 the domain ran a different, hand-coded site with company overview, management, advisors, investors, careers and a solution set of its own. Those pages are archived but belong to a previous era, so they are not folded into this rebuild.
- The In the News page. It was captured in 2019; the items are press links from 2010–2013 and are not reproduced as current news here.
- Product screenshots. The site never published an image of the Vision interface — only the network visualisation and stock photography.
- The original typefaces. Century Gothic and Helvetica are system fonts; the substitutes are stated above.
- Any film. The site carried no video of any kind.
The video
The eight-second loop on the home page is not company footage. It is a slow zoom generated for this rebuild from the company’s own network visualisation, re-encoded at 1280×720 and shipped inside the folder so it plays offline.
Deviations, stated plainly
- Seven pages instead of nine. The services page gathers the three methodologies that the original kept apart, and the news page is not reproduced.
- The markup is new. The original was a Weebly page; this is static HTML, one stylesheet and one small script.
- Copy is quoted or condensed. The methodologies, the three-step managed service and the four action options are the company’s own words.
- Nothing is requested from another server on load — fonts, images and the loop are local.
- No security claim is made on the company’s behalf. This is a record of what RazorThreat published, not an endorsement of it.
