Overview

RazorThreat was formed in 2005 in direct response to the insidious change in the nature and implications of the cyber threat landscape. Instead of one individual sending a virus globally to attack an operating system flaw teams of well educated, well financed hackers are targeting specific enterprises to secure critical personal and financial information to be sold on the black market. The government’s response has been to impose a plethora of new compliance rules and regulations while de facto heightening the personal liability exposure of company executives who are deemed to have acted imprudently in terms of protecting the sensitive information which was entrusted to their company’s care.

Since 2005 RazorThreat has been in stealth mode as it perfected its Threat Analysis Console (TAC), working with selected companies to prove its effectiveness in detecting zero-day bots and malware that evade other security solutions. In 2007 RazorThreat introduced its threat information and risk management software that protects intellectual capital and personally identifiable information from the inevitable cyber attack. Today’s customized, targeted, financially motivated cyber attacks cannot be stopped by existing firewalls, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention and SIM, SEM, SIEM management systems. Unlike all of those systems on the market today that can only stop threats that they know or learn about RazorThreat provides a Higher Order Analysis on all of the communication passing through those systems preempting the zero-day threats that they miss.
